What is Honeycomb?
Honeycomb is an environmentally friendly and cost-effective, custom-designed kraft paper material that can be used as void-fill packaging, pallets, lumber and other packaging alternatives. It is constructed by bonding individual strips of kraft paper together in a series of hexagonal cells, creating a product with considerable strength.
Advantages of honeycomb packaging
-They weight much less than traditional wooden pallets.
-Wooden pallets can weigh up to 50 pounds, while honeycomb pallets weight approximately 18 pounds.
-Easy to handle and will not splinter.
-Made from 100% paper, they are recyclable, eliminating the cost of changing pallets.
