Honeycomb Paper Installation
Honeycomb is the lightweight and environmentally friendly solution to your protective packaging needs, is made according to the principle of the honeycomb structure in nature. It connects corrugated base paper into an infinite number of hollow three-dimensional regular hexagons with an adhesive bonding method to form an integral force piece-the paper core and glues the surfaces on both sides. A new type of environmental protection and energy saving material made of paper.
A new complete Honeycomb Production Line has recently been installed in Vietnam, consisting of a Honeycomb Core Production Line Model HZX-2000 and a Honeycomb Board Laminating Production Line Model HZB-1600.
The Honeycomb Core Production Line Model HZX-2000 is used to make the paper honeycomb core only and consists of:
• Hydraulic Paper Roll Stand
• Gluing Unit
• Heating and Compressing Unit
• Horizontal Core Cutting Unit
• Conveyor and Collector
The Honeycomb Board Laminating Production Line Model HZB-1600 is used to expand honeycomb core, laminating two layers of paper on top and bottom to form the honeycomb board, also called as “outliners”. Outliners are useful to keep honeycomb core at its position, making it straight and stable and consists of:
• Hydraulic Paper Roll Stand
• Inline Single-Color Printer
• Core Stretcher and Dryer
• Gluing Unit
• Heating and Compressing Unit
• Belt Compressing Unit
• Drying Unit
• Slitting Unit
• Cut Off Unit
• Stacker
